LOS ANGELES, JUNE 13, 2017: Chrome River, a global leader in expense and invoice management solutions, has been selected to deploy its cloud-based Chrome River EXPENSE throughout the University of Minnesota system (UMN). Chrome River will be rolled out to almost 30,000 faculty and staff members across four campuses.

Chrome River EXPENSE will replace UMN’s existing ERP-based expense solution, and will allow users to easily capture and submit their expenses on any mobile device, all with an easy-to-use web application. The system will also streamline back-end processes, enable more accurate reporting, and deliver actionable data for more effective financial decision-making.

“Chrome River's technology is a great match for the complex needs of higher education institutions. Our ability to handle grant-based compliance rules, support budget encumbrances, and integrate with universities’ finance, HR and security systems has led to our strong growth in this market,” said Alan Rich, CEO of Chrome River. “In addition, we’re increasingly seeing higher education institutions place a premium on the user experience for software solutions, as this ultimately drives system adoption and allows the institutions to automate the most complex compliance and approval processes.”
