We’re delighted to announce that we will soon be launching Chrome River’s expense and invoice management solutions in Slovenian and Armenian. While, of course, these may not be the business world’s most prolific languages, the bigger picture is that with these latest additions, Chrome River’s solutions will be available in 31 languages and dialects. With this, no other expense and invoice management system is professionally translated in as many languages as ours.
Chrome River EXPENSE and INVOICE can now be used in the native language of an estimated 3 billion users worldwide, and are available in the official language of more than 120 countries. We have added support for almost 20 languages in the past year, in response to increasing globalisation among our customer base. We expect this growth to continue as we add new customers worldwide, and our existing customers deploy Chrome River’s products in new markets.

Our solutions were designed so that languages can be easily and quickly added, which is critical for our rapidly-growing list of international customers. Whereas some other expense and invoice management solutions use machine translation, which can lead to inaccuracies, the Chrome River is localised by professional translators, both for the end-user interface and back-end functionality. The translation process and our technology architecture also mean that new languages can be added across all of Chrome River’s suite of products in as little as 6-8 weeks.

All of the translations across every product and language are updated across all languages in each new release, and customers can also control the terminology used in each language, to provide the best possible user experience. This high level of translation, combined with our HTML5 web-app interface, means that no other solution provides such a consistent, quality user experience, no matter where a user is in the world, on any device.

Our choice of Chrome River EXPENSE was made in part due to the very user-friendly interface, easy configurability, and the clear commitment to impactful customer service – all aspects in which Chrome River was the clear winner. While Chrome River is not as large as some of the other vendors we considered, we found that to be a benefit and our due diligence showed that it could support us as well as any large players in the space, along with a personalized level of customer care.
We are excited to be able to enforce much more stringent compliance to our expense guidelines and significantly enhance our expense reporting and analytics. By automating these processes, we will be able to free up AP time formerly spent on manual administrative tasks, and enhance the role by being much more strategic.
